We accept designs in just about any format you can send. We will clean and prepare your art to make sure it will best suit the embroidery processes before we begin digitizing the image. We test all designs on industrial embroidery equipment with the material you will be sewing with. The design must pass through three different levels of quality control.

How much does it cost to have designs digitized?

Pricing is as follows for designs under 30,000 stitches

Does it cost anything to register?

No, registration is free, there is no monthly or annual fee to be a member of the site.

How do I upload my artwork?

The order/quote forms both have a place where you can upload your art files. Just click on the browse button and find the image from your hard drive or floppy drive. Then double click and it will attach.

Which type of art format is acceptable and offered?

You can send a .jpg, .bmp, .gif, .tif, .jif, .cdr, eps, ai, or .pdf files on our website.

We can output .PXF, .POF, .PSF, CND, .EXP, .DST, .XXX, .JEF, .SEW, .PES, PCS, .HUS, .CSD, .DSB, .DSZ and PCM.

How do I know when my design is ready?

You will receive an e-mail notification on the due date to inform you that your design is available for download. You will then go to the site and log onto your account to download your stitch file.

How do I get a quote?

Log in to our site with your user name and password and submit your quotes by selecting "New Quote" from the menu at left and attaching your artwork. All quotes are usually answered by an e-mail response within two hours from the time submitted.

How do I get my finished embroidery design?

Log in to our site with your user name and password. Click on the corresponding order's punch files and download the stitch files from the web site.

What is a design profile and how does it work?

A "Design Profile" is yours or your customer's order preferences. For example, if you need to receive your designs in a certain format, this is where you would let us know. You may have several "Design Profiles" set up in your account.

How do I know if my artwork is ok?

Sometimes an "Order Alert" is created to exchange communication regarding a specific order between the customer and the company which will help in the correct interpretation of the ordered design. If you do not have any "Order Alerts", your artwork is probably ok.

How does the archiving work?

We archive orders online for 6 months. This means that your order will be available for download for 6 months from the date the order was submitted.

How do I pay for my design?

We accept all major credit cards or you can fill out a credit application online and apply for terms of net 30.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes, the web site is encrypted under a secure connection.

What type of artwork services do you offer?

We take raster images meaning .jpg, bmp, .tif, .gif, etc. and convert them to vector art formats such as .cdr, .eps, ai, .fh, .wmf, .emf and .pdf.

How do I create an artwork order?

After logging in please click on submit artwork order from the top of the left menu. Fill out the form with your requirements for the order.

What do you charge for Artwork Services?

Do I need to specify my application for the artwork?

Yes, there is a drop down menu on the order form to select the application which best fits your needs.

DEFINITIONS

Art for Embroidery - We will rework your original art and make it embroidery friendly by eliminating small details, thickening lines, making lettering large enough to stitch legibly when applicable and changing layouts if necessary.

InkJet Printing - A non-impact printing process whereby fluid ink is projected from a nozzle of an ink jet printer directly onto a material to form the desired image.

Sublimation - In the printing world, "sublimation" describes heat-activated inks that change into a gas when heat is applied to the ink causing the ink to bond with polyester or acrylic surfaces.

Screen Printing - Method of printing by using a squeegee to force ink through an assembly of mesh fabric and a stencil.

Vinyl Cutting - we will optimize your art for sign making. Our output file will accurately cut vinyl for sign making purposes.

Silk Screen - A modern color printing process based on stenciling. A cut stencil is attached to a silk screen of fine mesh which has been stretched on a wooden frame, and the color is forced through the unmasked areas of the screen on to the paper or canvas underneath by means of a squeegee

Engraving - printmaking process in which grooves are cut into a metal or wood surface with a sharp cutting tool.

Raster Images

Raster images use a grid, or raster, of small squares known as pixels to represent graphics. Each pixel in a bitmap image has a specific location and color value assigned to it. When working with bitmap images, groups of pixels are edited rather than objects or shapes. Because they represent subtle gradiations of shades and color, bitmap images are the most common electronic medium for continuous-tone images, such as photographs, etc. Bitmap images are resolution-dependent, in that they represent a fixed number of pixels. As a result, they can appear jagged and lose detail if they are scaled on-screen, or if they are printed at a higher resolution than they were created for.

Vector Graphics

Vector graphics consist of lines and curves defined by mathematical objects called vectors. Vectors describe graphics according to their geometric characteristics. Vector objects can moved, resized, or changed without losing the quality of the graphic. Vector graphics are resolution-independent, in that they are not defined by a fixed number of pixels and are thusly automatically scaled to appear crisp and sharp on any output device at any resolution.
